FAACPA Educational Fund

Good news!

Nanding Cantor, 2009 President of the FAACPA Educational Fund, and I are
pleased to inform you that upon review of our application for tax exempt status, the
IRS has determined that the Fund is exempt from Federal income tax under
section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code effective July 28, 2005, the date
the Fund was established.

Thanks to Nanding Cantor who prepared and submitted our application to the
IRS.  And thanks to FAACPA members and friends who contributed generously to
the Fund.  We look forward to working with you in supporting the Fund's good
cause of providing accounting scholarships to deserving students in the state of
Washington.

The FAACPA EDUCATIONAL FUND scholarship program is now accepting
applications for $750 scholarships. This year’s scholarships will be awarded
for use beginning fall quarte r2011 at any 2- or 4-year institution in Washington
State.
