The Filipino American Association of Certified Public
Accountants (FAACPA) was initially conceived by a group of
Filipino Americans who have attained the CPA designation in
the Philippines and/or State of Washington. Current
membership is open to professionals and students in an
accounting or related field.

FAACPA’s activities consist of:
  • Providing seminars and workshops for professional
    development to members
  • Offering annual scholarship to members and students
    preparing for the CPA exams
  • Offering CPA review scholarship in partnership with
    Becker Professional Review or Becker CPA Review and
    Rigos CPA Review School
  • Assisting low-income and non-English speaking taxpayers
    in the preparation of income tax under the IRS VITA
    program
  • Providing free tax and accounting services to the Filipino
    Community of Seattle and other local organizations.
  • Holding annual Christmas party and summer picnic for
    members and their families
  • Participating in various Seattle civic and community affairs
    and activities.

Hello everyone.

We will be having our first General Membership Meeting
on February 11, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at
KIRO-TV, 2807 Third Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121.

KIRO-TV is located at the corner of Third Avenue and
Broad Street, across Car Toys and Wells Fargo Bank.  
There are 15-18 available parking spaces.  We will be
making arrangements for somebody to let you in if you
arrive between 9:30 - 9:50 a.m..  Parking entrance is on Clay
Street.  Street parking is also available.  I will be sending
out another e-mail with more details.
